John R. Loyack appointed Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Consultative Officer

We are pleased to announce that John R. Loyack, MBA, CPA, has been appointed Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Consultative Officer of Inperium Inc. Mr. Loyack will start his new position upon completing his service as President of Alvernia University.

Mr. Loyack currently serves as President of Alvernia University in Reading, Pennsylvania. Mr. Loyack joined the Alvernia community as its seventh president in July 2019, bringing a powerful mix of business acumen and higher education leadership. His successful and diversified career provides Alvernia with an unequaled, strategic approach and personal commitment to the student experience. As president, Loyack led a significant university expansion, including record enrollments and a new technical program expansion funded by the most extensive fundraising campaign in the university’s history. At the same time, Mr. Loyack headed an effective economic redevelopment campaign in the communities Alvernia serves, including Reading and Pottsville, as part of his strategic CollegeTowne approach.

Before he arrived at Alvernia, Mr. Loyack served as executive vice president for business and administration at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, President and CEO of Optim Energy, a diversified energy business in Dallas, Texas, and President and CEO of CPG International, a national leader in building products in Scranton. President Loyack is a board member of AMCON Distributing Company in Omaha, Nebraska.

In addition to earning an MBA from Lehigh University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from King’s College, the Pennsylvania native is a certified public accountant with a long history of building relationships in the community. He serves on the board of directors for the Berks Alliance, Luzerne Foundation, Wyoming Seminary, Berks Business Education Coalition, AMCON Distributing (DIT: NYSE), and Inperium Inc.
